Introducing the Metric Longevity Leaderboard

Celebrating the people slowing aging together.

Today we are launching the Metric Longevity Leaderboard—a living pulse of how the community is slowing aging together. It is designed to translate disciplined habits into visible momentum, celebrate the science-backed wins happening every week, and make longevity work feel less solitary and more inspiring.

Why track longevity together?

Longevity is a long game, but it thrives on near-term feedback. By surfacing aging rates, cardio resilience, sleep consistency, and nutrition rhythm in one shared view, the Leaderboard gives every member a new reason to stay consistent. You can see how small adjustments—an earlier bedtime, an extra zone two session, a nutrient-dense dinner—stack up over months, not just days.

At launch, 57 members are already on the board, with the current lowest aging rate sitting at 0.51x. Every trend line reflects dozens of micro-decisions that compound into added healthspan, and that story becomes contagious when you witness it in community.

What the Leaderboard measures

  • Aging Rate Momentum: How quickly each member is compounding younger biological years, averaged across recent assessments.
  • Cardiovascular Capacity: Progress in VO₂ max and resting heart rate, which together spotlight aerobic resilience.
  • Recovery Integrity: Sleep quality, variability, and readiness scores, summarised to show who is protecting their nervous system.
  • Metabolic Balance: Nutrition logging consistency and glucose stability, highlighting the members who are fuelling longevity goals.
  • Consistency Streaks: The days and weeks where members hit their personalised habits, signalling staying power over motivation bursts.

Each pillar is grounded in the same science we use across Metric. The Leaderboard pulls from biological age intelligence, cardio gauges, and recovery tiles to generate an honest score. We also include context so you always understand what moved someone up or down instead of guessing.

The Longevity Leaderboard is accountability without shame. It is a scoreboard that reminds you to celebrate progress, not perfection.

Healthy competition, healthier rituals

Competition gets a bad reputation in health, but the right structure can be rocket fuel. Seeing peers improve their aging rate nudges you to double-check your evening wind-down or stack another walk into your day. When you slide back a few spots, it is not because someone else won—it is because you just unlocked another cue to reflect and adjust.

How to climb the board

Consistency will always outrank a single heroic week. Start with the basics: stabilise sleep timing, prioritise protein at each meal, weave in three to four zone two sessions, and strength train with intent twice a week. Then check the Leaderboard alongside your personal dashboard to track how those habits compress your aging rate over time.

  • Use Cortex to translate Leaderboard trends into the next best habit for your schedule.
  • Review your biological age tiles weekly to spot the biomarkers that need attention.
  • Stack accountability by sharing your goals in the community channel and celebrating small wins.
  • Build recovery rituals—breathwork, stretching, earlier lights-out—so training gains are actually absorbed.
  • Revisit your plan every month and adjust targets as your physiology adapts.

When the leaderboard tells you that recovery dipped, you can pivot in hours instead of weeks. When it shows that your aging rate is accelerating, you can double down on what works. The combination of fast feedback and supportive peers keeps you in motion even when motivation fades.

Roadmap: what is coming next

This is just the first release. Soon you will see cohort views for training partners, geographic spotlights, and seasonal challenges tied to specific biomarkers like resting heart rate or grip strength. We are also exploring team-based modes where friends, families, or clinics can pool their progress to unlock shared milestones.

Build your edge

Bookmark the Leaderboard, invite a training partner, and commit to one habit you will brag about in next week’s check-in.

Longevity is not a solo project. The Metric Longevity Leaderboard is how we keep the mission visible every day: add more quality years, together. Open the board, take the next action, and let the community multiply your momentum.
